The tomahawk is the piece to grill to impress visitors during a BBQ. This cut is simply the sirloin whose bone has not been trimmed, just like the entrecote. Unlike entrecôte, the rib bone is left on its length, which leaves an impressive handle to the steak. Just like the entrecôte, it is a tender and very tasty piece of meat thanks to this bone.
Cooking: This piece is for grilling, but with a higher technical level given the bone which insulates the meat. It will be better rare or medium rare. For perfect cooking, refer to our cooking tips here .
